i just can't stop watching this video and listening to the song. adele absolutely killed it on this year's mtv vma's. she captured the heart of every single viewer and squeezed it hard enough so you could feel the pain coming out of every single lyric sung.

"i heard that you're settled down
that you found a girl
and you're married now
i heard that your dreams came true
guess she gave you things
i didn't give to you."

heart = destroyed.

if dawson's creek were still around (or one tree hill circa lucas/peyton era) this song would have been used in pretty much every single emotional montage involving a lovelorn teenager.
