song of the day, part II, can you feel the love edition

matt nathanson is the new justin nozuka is the new jason mraz. :-) vh1/radio alice fave. your standard singer/songwriter combo. i imagine this song to be used on an upcoming episode of gossip girl or 90210, anything involving a lovey dovey couple sequence (if it hasn't been used already and i've just missed it - i am a little behind in my gg).

that whole opening section just tugs at the heart string a little. such great writing.

EDIT:  while we're on the lovey dovey note, then i must must post this cover seal did of otis redding's "i've been loving you too long." this is the kind of song you just wanna get lost in, slow dancing with the one you love.
