so close yet so far

so i've been on a search for this obama shirt i saw back in october, but keep hitting a dead end with every lead. the shirt is a play off those names/neighborhood shirts. saw it on a dj at roe (s- this was actually at your bday - the opening dj before samantha ronson!). the shirt went.....

cool, right?

so today i get a twilight blip on tees made in the same fashion. for example......

so i quickly log on to the tee creator's site, gasp when i see they have obama shirts, and then......

nada!

zilch!

do not pass go!

hopes were up briefly, then quickly dashed.  the search continues.

p.s. anyone know where this design style even started? curious.
